University Students

Vavy, University of Toliara

My name is Vavinirina, I'm 26 years old. I am studying in the university of Toliara majoring in Géography. I have been a NiA member for 7 years. I entered the program when I was in the sophomore class. NiA has supported my education since then. Due to the existence of NiA, I got the chance to study at the University of Toliara. I am thankful for this opportunity because my dad died. SInce my dad died, I had no support. I am now I'm in third year in university.

Soanatoloe

My name is Soanatoloe, I'm 24 years old. I am the 1st to go to school in my entire family. I am very lucky I found NiA because my grandparents, and my parents are farmers and uneducated. I have been a NiA member for 9 years! I started when I was in 9th grade and now I am in my third years in a Nursing Program. I am about to graduate this year or beginning of next year.  I didn’t dream of becoming a nurse, as a kid, I thought I would be married at an early age like most of my peers in my small village. NiA has enlightened my vision about education. Thanks to NiA for coaching me along the way, supports me with everything I need to study such as my university tuition, my dorm, any fees that need to be paid at school, and all my school's stuff (books and supplies). Now, l'm giving thanks to you as a NiA donor because I understand NiA can not do their mission without you. Many thanks to you for helping me, for helping us!

Vola, University of Toliara

My name is MAHARAVO Vola Fagnampee Gustavine. I am currently in my 2nd year in University studying to become a midwife. Thank you for supporting Nofy i Androy and giving me the opportunity to continue going to school. NiA has helped me so much and I cannot express how much your support means for me. I have no way of returning the favour. God knows how to return your kindness.

Tantely, Barikadimy University

My full name is Miza Tantely Solange. I am in my 3rd of University years now, we just did our final exams and I am waiting for the result. I have been a student at NiA (Nofy i Androy) since 2015, I was a junior year in high school back then. I want to thank you for donating to NiA because it helps us achieving our goals of finishing a higher degree. Without your help, my parents alone couldn’t support my education! I wish you and your family the best.

Nambine, CURA (Androy University)

My name is Nambine, I am 23 years old. I have been a NiA member since I was 15 years old—when I was in 9th grade, now I am in my 2nd year in college. Without NiA, I wouldn’t have gotten this far into my goals. I endured so many things along the way, I became pregnant when I was 15 years old but NiA was always there by my side to support my medical bills, my education, and my career. Now I am actually doing an internship program at NiA implementing NiA activities for younger girls. As an intern I coach and mentor the younger girls to go or not go in the directions I went. It's not only but NiA was my first moralist when I went through with my enduring life. Here is a picture of me and my daughter Jessica (I named her after Jessica, a Peace Corps Volunteer who was our 9th grade English teacher at NiA in 2013).

Kalikilie, CURA (Androy University)

My name is Kalikilie, I am a farmer’s daughter. My grandparents and my parents didn’t go to school. We are from a small village but I am very proud I am currently doing my Master one in Social Science at Center Universitaire Regional Ambovombe Androy (CURA). I am 25 years old. I have been a student at NIA since I was a junior high school in 2015 until now. Most of the girls in my village didn’t go to school, and those who did didn’t go beyond elementary school. I am lucky I have NiA who has been mentoring me.  I am writing to you because I would like to thank you for your supporting NiA who is supporting my education. God bless you and your family. God bless NiA. My goal is to help those in need when I the time comes—just like you.

Carole, CURA (Androy University)

My name is Ranzanatsahony Carole, I am 23 years old from NiA organization. It's an honor for me to thank you for all the support you are doing. NiA have supported me since when I was in my junior class in  2015 up until now. Paying for my tuition, my notebooks and pens. I am finishing my Master One degree this year. Long live Nofy i Androy for creating development for young girls.

Jeannette, CURA (Androy University)

I like to thank you for the support you have given Nofy i Androy. Through your sponsorship you are contributing to shape us over as NIA has done so in the past 9 years. At NiA I receive many benefits such as material assistance (school supplies and books), school tuition ever since, the provision of all-material tutoring courses for us to prepare for college. This program has helped me develop and move forward in my education career. Many of us have really improved our skills. NiA taught me some words of encouragement in my path: "women are not only meant to marry, or to depend on men but to learn to be independent and have good jobs".

At NIA, we are able to do many good things such as developing our minds in many different ways like: taking us on "field study trips, computer courses, etc ...". but we said thank you very much NIA Donor, thank you very much for providing for us for our own good.

Annilah, University of Fianarantsoa

My name is Annilah. I have been a Nofy i Androy member since I was in junior year in High School until now. I am currently in my 3rd year of University and about to graduate with my Bachelors in Computer Science. I will be continuing onto graduate school in order to get a satisfying career in Engeneering. Thank you so much for the support you have given us, for being able to help us, and to NiA for supporting us through those years.

Annick, CURA (Androy University)

My name is Annick, I am 22 years old. I have been a NiA member for two years now. I am currently in my 2nd year in CURA University. I got awarded a NiA scholarship when I passed the BAC and NIA has supported me ever since I started college. I became pregnant when I was 17 years old but NiA supports my education and my career ever since which I am so grateful. I’m actually doing an internship program at NiA implementing NiA activities for the younger girls. From my heart to yours, thank you so much for your support for NiA. I urge you to continue supporting us until we all finish college because your support is creating a brighter future for me. I wish you the best in life.

Kwasnie, University of Majunga

My full name is KWASNIE Winnonce Zenee Eiler but I go by Kwasnie. I am in first year of medical school in Majunga University and curently waiting for our results from the final exam. I became a Nofy i Androy member in January 2020. Thanks a million for supporting us with everything. Wish you the best in life and may God complete the missing pieces.

Odette, CURA (Androy University)

My name is Kazy Odette. I am 25 years old. I live in Ambovombe and I am studying at CURA University of Androy. I started studying at NiA since 2016 until now. I am currently in my Master One Program. I am very proud of the NIA NGO because it supports me with scholarships since 2016! I would like to give thanks to the dear ladies and gentleman for the support. Also thanks to the founders of this NGO because they guaranteed my success in my career through annual tuitions and providing school supplies through my time as a NiA member.cn I am a single mom and struggling trying to raise my son. I bring him  to class all the time because I have no child support system. My sister is also a NiA student and I hope to serve as a good example for her. I am hopeful that she will have a god future because she has the same educational support as me through NiA.
