It is with the greatest pleasure to inform you that Nofy i Androy (NiA) will participate in the 2021 #GivingTuesday crowdfunding activity. GlobalGiving is "the largest global crowdfunding community connecting nonprofits, donors, and companies in nearly every country." We are fundraising to uphold our mission to empower women with the tools to fight child-marriage, gender, premature pregnancies and education inequality through extra-curricular education and life skills programming at NiA. Although the November 30th is #GivingTuesday we aim to raise $20,000 by the end of this year. Our #GivingTuesday campaign is titled:

“End Hunger in Madagascar with Girls' Education ”.

​

A small team of volunteers manages Nofy i Androy (NiA) however with an annual budget of $20,000 for 2022, NiA has proven that a little goes a long way. With such little operating budget we will be supporting 300 students education. NiA also receives support from random acts of kindness from supporters through birthday fundraiser donations and a handful of monthly donors. All of these sources of funding is what holds NiA together and without them, NiA would not have had the capacity to help 300 students go to school—some of whom are about to graduate college.

 

As we celebrate this giving season with Thanksgiving, Black  Friday and Cyber Monday, we urge you to challenge yourself in realizing how privileged you are to be able to bring food at your Thanksgiving dinner table; (2) to be able to plan your Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping. Many of the women we help are at Nofy i Androy because their parents do not have enough money to send their daughters to high school. Nofy i Androy parents don’t have $200 to send their children to college--some wake up and go to and from school without eating.
